Why is the result of the JavaScript API implementation a signature and not a simple verdict?

If Adscore was to return a simple “valid” or “bot” result instead of a cryptographic signature for the JavaScript API implementation, some bot software could then just override our response and pretend that Adscore detected it as “valid”.

That is why using a cryptographic signature, the result can be passed through a rogue, bot browser, without running the risk of it being altered.
